Syed Muhammad Ahsan

Syed Muhammad Ahsan is Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of the Roshan Youth Welfare Organization. He is responsible for the supervision of the overall organization strategy and success.

He is a serial entrepreneur and a development practitioner with ten years of experience in the non-profit sector. He previously has worked with the United Nations Foundation in the US, and Pathfinder International and Save the Children in Pakistan. Throughout his career, he has gained diverse experience by working in Pakistan and the US in different fields such as entrepreneurship, youth empowerment, education, voice and accountability, health, women’s economic and political empowerment, violence against women, food security, and peace promotion.

He is an Atlas Corps and Presidential Precinct Global Leadership Forum fellow and a member of the global corporate governance expert repository of Virtues Interpress, Ukraine. He provided his services as a lead facilitator at the World Bank Youth Summit in DC and led the delegates from the MENA region. He also served as a stage lead at the Global Nexus Summit in the UN headquarters, New York. In 2013, he received the best social work award from the Pakistan National Council of Social Welfare and Development Authority.

He has an M.Phil in Finance and Corporate Social Responsibility and Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance.
