Huma is Director of Strategic Planning and Project Management at Roshan Youth Welfare Organization. In her role she is responsible for driving completion of the strategic plans for the RYWO. She will support Leadership in strategic planning as well as oversee portfolio and project management processes and tools. 

She is a highly organized and committed professional with an ever-deepening knowledge of social impacts, entrepreneurship, human rights protection, and a passion for equal opportunities for all. Huma comes to Roshan Youth Welfare Organization to build connections with a robust network of amazing individuals and contribute to the ecosystem as an integral player.

Apart from RYWO, Huma also supports an INGO as a Technical Advisor. Before joining the RYWO, she was managing an incubator in Washington DC, USA. Huma has also worked on UNWFP and UNODC projects, fighting for zero hunger and the end of drug addiction. An experienced entrepreneur, she co-founded Educate Pakistan, Muzh Studios, and Zhaagh Business Solutions, all ventures she remains passionate about.

She is skilled in cultivating positive relationships with partners & colleagues, particularly adept at communicating with clarity and diplomacy to individuals from diverse cultural and organizational backgrounds. Known for her enthusiasm, persistence, follow-through, and fostering collaborative relationships to resolve concerns and ensure program/project completion and success. Her goal is to become a social entrepreneur positioned strategically where needs are not adequately supported by the government or the private sector. Effective communicator and motivator who identifies and leverages assets in teammates to reach organizational goals. A relentless optimist who believes there is no failure, only feedback.

When not at work, she can be found reading books, watching movies, and endlessly revisiting the Harry Potter stories – believing there is still magic alive in the world!
