Gone through from a lot as a female member of the community, I grew up with a dream of many ideas with great passion and an opportunity ceased is how RYWO was born. Our aim at RYWO was to create a right-based society where everyone has a voice and should heard to and learn independently in all aspects of humans. We learned that investing in people and the contemporary issues facing humanity can return a considerable dividend. By improving the living conditions and capacity of people to govern, educate, and produce for themselves, the foundation for long term sustainable development can be laid and challenges averted.

This is exactly the kind of vital work we do every day. Investing in people and issues – at the local level, in partnership with civil society, the private sector, and the government – create inclusive, resilient, and responsible societies.

I would like to acknowledge our directors, partners, associates, and volunteers that have enabled RWYO to move closer to fulfilling its mission one step at a time. It would not have been possible for RYWO to have extended its support to such a large number of vulnerable people without them. Thanks to them, we have grown significantly in numbers and knowledge and expertise, leadership ability, and creative wisdom.
